Good evening! This is Principal Hettenbach from High Point Central High School with a message from the Boulevard.
This Tuesday, we have two events that need to be completed for 11th grade and for 10th grade. Due to the number of adults it takes to conduct these events, 9th and 12th stay home for asynchronous learning. 9th and 12th graders should access teachers’ canvas pages to complete work and be counted for attendance. Failure to complete assignments result in a zero and an absence. 10th and 11th graders who want to be dismissed after their assigned activity should have a permission slip filled out. They can get that form from the front office.
Additionally, this Wednesday, during 3rd block, students will receive their progress reports from all of their classes. This is the time to review grades and reach out to your student’s teachers with any questions or concerns.
Criteria to attend: 85% or higher in attendance, no OSS, no more than 1 placement in RS. Guests must agree to a background check to attend and can not be older than 18 at the time of the dance.
Please take a moment to check out our 4 year data trend. This is something I am so extremely proud of. I am proud of our amazing and dedicated staff, hardworking students, supportive families and well connected community and partnerships who make every effort to assist in providing an amazing education to our many well deserved students. How can you help as a parent or guardian? Well, if, you are new to High Point Central, we simply need your student at school every day, on time, and giving it their all. We can take care of the rest of that happens.
Please be sure to review the electronics policy with your student.
Would you like to be in the know at all times about your student’s grades, attendance, and more, then make sure you connect to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Directions are below!
Familiar with Class Dojo at the Elementary level? Guess what, we are bringing it to the High School level!
Parents/Guardians, as a gentle reminder, in order for a student to be checked out, he or she MUST be in Infinite Campus under contacts to do so. They also must have a valid ID. This is for the safety of your student. If you find an error, let’s work together to fix that issue so everything can run safely and smoothly.
Please link your Harris Teeter Vic card to High Point Central. Our number is 1084. LINKS= Dollars for HPC! The higher the link count the higher the earnings for HPC. You can link your card in the store by asking customer service or go to https://buff.ly/3OQ7V1w.
