Good evening! This is Principal Hettenbach from High Point Central High School with a message from the Boulevard.
This past Tuesday, we held two events, the PSAT, and the YouScience survey. We also shared interim reports to all students for the first 6 weeks of school. Please take a moment to review grades and reach out to your student’s teachers with any questions or concerns. Additionally, we took some time to celebrate Hispanic Heritage with themes throughout the week. It was a pleasure to see everyone participating in these events.
This coming week, we have our homecoming game at Simon stadium against Randleman. Let’s come out and support our Bison!
Criteria to attend: 85% or higher in attendance, no OSS, no more than 1 placement in RS. Guests must agree to a background check to attend and can not be older than 18 at the time of the dance.
To donate blood, you must be at least 16 years old and weigh over 110 pounds. If you are 16 or 17, you must have a consent form signed. See here regarding eligibility.
Graduates and early graduates should be reporting to the auditorium on Monday at 10:45 for a presentation from Herff Jones about ordering graduation supplies. Information will be sent home with all in attendance.
Please be prepared for the following week where we will be administering the Pre-ACT and College and Career Readiness Alternate Assessment (CCRAA) to 10th graders and the WorkKeys to seniors.

How can you help as a parent or guardian? Well, if, you are new to High Point Central, we simply need your student at school every day, on time, and giving it their all. We can take care of the rest of that happens.

Parents/Guardians, as a gentle reminder, in order for a student to be checked out, he or she MUST be in Infinite Campus under contacts to do so. They also must have a valid ID. This is for the safety of your student. If you find an error, let’s work together to fix that issue so everything can run safely and smoothly.
