Good evening! This is Principal Hettenbach from High Point Central High School with a message from the Boulevard.
Great job to current and newly inducted National Beta Club members. What a great ceremony this past Wednesday put on by Mrs. Stafford. If you have questions about how your student can get into the Beta Club, please reach out to Mrs. Stafford.

Seniors, this Wednesday is cap and gown pickup in the cafeteria during your lunch for those who ordered in time and are fully paid up. Stoles will be distributed on the day of graduation. Also, this Thursday is the last day for seniors to submit their service learning hours. Are you having trouble, please see Mrs. Whitestone.

As May is now upon us this coming Friday, that means we only have one month of full instruction left. Have you seen your students’ grades lately. Please do so if you have not. Do you have any concerns, or needs for your student considering we are close to the finish line? Within this blog, you will find the testing schedule along with State testing tutorials offered in Biology, Math 1 Math 3, English 10. These sessions have shown dramatic growth for any students who have attended these sessions. Students enrolled in these classes should not miss opportunity.

Please link your Harris Teeter Vic card to High Point Central. Our number is 1084. LINKS= Dollars for HPC! The higher the link count the higher the earnings for HPC. You can link your card in the store by asking customer service or go to https://buff.ly/3OQ7V1w.

The electronics law is in effect as of January 1st.

I challenge everyone to be involved in their student’s academic progress. Please take a moment to create a Parent Assist account through Infinite Campus to monitor daily progress of your student.

Here is helpful information to assist all parents in getting a campus parent account. Here is another way as well. If you are still experiencing difficulty, please call the school. You can also download their app on an Iphone, IPad or Droid that looks like:

The Learning Hub is in session on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30-6:00. The program offers flexible opportunities for students to receive academic and social-emotional supports, tutoring, and enrichment outside regular school hours. Learning Hubs will take place in the Media Center. • Students need to bring their ID cards • Transportation and food provided.

Parents/Guardians, as a gentle reminder, in order for a student to be checked out, he or she MUST be in Infinite Campus under contacts to do so. They also must have a valid ID. This is for the safety of your student. If you find an error, let’s work together to fix that issue so everything can run safely and smoothly.
