This is Mr. Hettenbach with a simple greeting from the Boulevard.

We have two days of school this week, Monday and Tuesday, before you enjoy this well deserved Thanksgiving week. When we return on Monday, November 28, we have 15 days before the December break, followed by 11 days before the first semester state exams start. As you can realize, we do not have much time left at all. I need your help in monitoring your student’s attendance in school, as well as their academics. If you are unsure how to do this on a daily basis, please do not hesitate to call the school for help.
On the subject of monitoring grades, the 1st interim report of the 2nd quarter is being delivered electronically on Tuesday. Please e-mail your student’s teachers with any questions or concerns.

As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to share my personal thanks to our PTO President, Cece Biesecker and Athletic Director, Mike Cook for being the driving force behind our beautification day yesterday. What a difference! Close to 50 volunteers that included students and parents. There are so many more that are not in the picture below who contributed. Thank you for showing pride in this beautiful school!

I would also like to thank David Breece of Breece Enterprises, Inc for donating a golf cart to the school. This golf cart will allow our custodians to collect trash around the entire grounds more efficiently, as well as help the school transport items back and forth between the buildings. Thank you!
