Principal’s Bison Bulletin for August 18

Good evening!  This is Principal Hettenbach from High Point Central High School with a message from the Boulevard. How exciting, we are only one week away before students return to the campus. This week is open house on Tuesday from 5:30-7:30. Students, if you wish to pick up your most recent schedule, please come to the school during this time. Seniors have a meeting from 6-7 in the Auditorium. Open House is an opportunity to talk to your counselor, meet your teachers, get your parking passes, and more!! Freshmen Orientation is Friday, and all staff return to the building this week. The first day of school starts on Monday, August 25th. The school day runs from 9:15 to 4:15. Students should arrive no later than 9:10 in order to get to class on time and not be marked tardy. As a reminder, if you are new to our school, we send an all call message in English every Sunday during the school year at 6:30, followed by Spanish at 7:00. If you do not want to listen to one of the two messages, a simple hang up will be sufficient. These messages will also be sent to your cell phone as a text link as well as to your e-mail address you may have on file. If you do not receive these messages on those platforms but wish to do so, please let us know. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the school for any reason. Please continue to enjoy your summer, and always remember if you are ever facing adversity, just be like the Bison, #ChargetheStorm!
