Good evening! This is Principal Hettenbach from High Point Central High School with a message from the Boulevard.
Tuesday is the first day of the new semester AND the nightly Gathering of the Herd to meet your new teachers, meet with colleges, universities, work forces, free food, win free HPC swag, and more! 6-8. Do not miss this!

This coming week is a big week, not only with the start of the semester and the big family evening, but we must finish the FIRST semester’s GCS Final Exams on Wednesday. Therefore, Wednesday is ONLY for the 1st semester’s 2nd and 4th block missed GCS Final Exams and anyone who has missed the 1st and 3rd block GCSFEs from the first semester. On Thursday, it is my hope we can get back to normalcy with school. Thank you so much for your patience with testing and with Mother Nature.

Once we finish the local Final Exams, we will finalize the remainder of the grades, and send report cards home on the 5th of February.

There is a MANDATORY student graduation meeting this Thursday for all 2025 grads, seniors and early grads, 11:00AM in the Auditorium.

I hope you have heard the amazing news! High Point Central was named the prestigious Hubert Humphrey Most Improved School at the state of the county banquet. This is a testament to the passion and perseverance of our amazing staff, the students that work hard, use resources in front of them and set high goals. The parents and guardians who advocate for their student while also supporting the school, and of course our powerful alumni and community members! If you have not seen the news segment, simply go to google and type in High Point Central Hubert Humphrey award. WFMY did a great job!

As we continue to navigate through the year, please make sure you are following our athletics clear bag policy.
