Principal’s Bison Bulletin for August 11

Good evening!  This is Principal Hettenbach from High Point Central High School with a message from the Boulevard. We are only one week away before teachers return to the campus, open house, Freshmen Orientation, and then 2 weeks away from the start of school on August 26th. As a reminder from last week’s message, if you are new to our school, we send an all call message in English every Sunday during the school year at 6:30, followed by Spanish at 7:00. If you do not want to listen to one of the two messages, a simple hang up will be sufficient. These messages will also be sent to your cell phone as a text link as well as to your e-mail address you may have on file. If you do not receive these messages on those platforms but wish to do so, please let us know. I have a couple of important dates coming up. Open House is Tuesday, August 20th from 6-8 pm. Freshman orientation is Friday, August 23rd from 9am to 12:30 followed by a grill out afterwards.  That Saturday, August 24th is the Carl Chavis YMCA Back to School bash where they give away backpacks only if you register in advance. Families can register in person at the YMCA – 2757 Granville Street. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the school for any reason.
