I hope each and every one of you had a very restful break. We are now in the crucial part of the school year as we make that last turn to the finish line. Please have those critical conversations with your students about attendance, academics and wise decision making.
Report Cards will be sent out via mail and electronically on Tuesday. Please call the school with any questions or concerns to assist us with finishing this year as strong as possible.
The registration window for transportation is now open. If your address has changed, you are new to the district, or you have enrolled in a new school, you’re encouraged to register as soon as possible to ensure your student has transportation on the first day of school. The deadline to register is May 31. The transportation department will host several in-person registration events at high schools across the district. You can find more information on those dates and other important transportation updates on our website at http://www.gcsnc.com/transportation.
We also have a couple of special opportunities at High Point Central coming up. 1st, the Prom is on May 18th. Any student who has one or more OSS or 2 or more ISS this semester will not be able to attend. Early graduates must receive permission from myself in order to attend the prom. The student simply needs to e-mail or call me and we can set up a quick conversation.
The 2nd big event is the Senior trip. Information can be found below. Again, any early grads must get additional permission to attend.
