As we have entered the Month of February, we celebrate Black History Month, a tradition that got its start in the Jim Crow era and was officially recognized in 1976 as part of the nation’s bicentennial celebrations. It aims to honor the contributions that African Americans have made and to recognize their sacrifices.

National School Counseling Week 2024 is celebrated this week, February 5-9, 2024, to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. Feel free to give your student’s counselor a note of appreciation for all they do on a daily basis. We are privileged to have a fantastic team!

SGA will be hosting a Multi-Cultural Fair afterschool, February 5th. We welcome the community to come join this event. Spread the word!
