Principal’s Bison Bulletin – State Testing

We have now started State Testing. I am very proud of the students coming in to take their test. The Tests, as shared before have a heavily weighted 20% final grade. With the chance of some possible inclement weather, please make sure you are making an extra effort in receiving the communications. There are so many things that can be impacted over the next week or so, such as state testing, start of the 2nd semester, athletics, and more.

A gentle reminder that we are off tomorrow, Monday to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Please join High Point Central in honoring the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., one of the most inspiring and important figures in American history. Dr. King taught us to stand up for what we believe in through civil, peaceful means to unite our nation instead of dividing it.

We will have very specific ENG 10, Math 1, Math 3, and Biology prep every day on Tuesday, January 16th, Wednesday, January 17th, and Thursday, January 18th from 2:30-4:15. If a student is not at school that day but wants to attend that afternoon’s prep sessions, let us know so we can pick you up around 2.

Pre-Season workouts for Women’s Lacrosse will begin Monday, January 29 at 4:30 on the track behind the gym. You must have a completed physical and concussion form to participate. See Coach Kelley in room 322 for more details.
