The Learning Hub is now in session
The program offers flexible opportunities for students to receive academic and social-emotional supports, tutoring, and enrichment outside regular school hours.
Learning Hub will occur on Tuesday and Thursday afternoon (4:30PM – 6PM ). In the Media Center.

The Howard G. “Gibbie” Bowen, Jr. Memorial Scholarship is awarded each year to a senior male High Point Central student. To qualify you must complete an application, have applied to a 2 yr or 4 yr college and have a minimum of a 2.0 GPA. Completed applications are due to Mrs. Evans on November 6.
Seniors – the following October Scholarship opportunities need to be submitted: NSHSS Student Athlete Scholarships(10/27), The Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship (10/31), and the VFW – Voice of Democracy Scholarship (10/31). Please refer to the Scholarship NewsBook for other scholarship opportunities.

All boys interested in playing basketball need to turn in their physical forms to Coach Prince. Forms need to be turned in before tryouts. Tryouts start on Oct. 30th at 4:30pm in the main gym.
All girls interested in playing basketball need to turn in their physical forms and concussion paperwork to Coach Hayes. Workouts are Monday through Thursday 4:30-6. Tryouts start on Oct. 30th.

Using a new feature called Forms, parents and guardians can make changes to their contact information and medical alerts, provide an absence notice in the event of a student absence, and submit other required paperwork. PowerSchool Parent Portal also gives you access to grades, assignments and attendance information, right from your phone or computer.

Athletics sports passes are 125 for adults and 50 for students. They can be purchased starting on August 1 in the Main Office.
