We have a big day tomorrow! Please help us in encouraging your scholar to be prepared for the school year and to let them know to always ask us for any assistance as we navigate through the year. We are here for them. How we start tomorrow will help us navigate our path to a successful school year.
The tardy bell rings at 9:15. Therefore, when dropping students off , please make every effort to drop off before 9:10 in order for your student to arrive on time in class. The end of the day is at 4:15. Early checkouts cannot occur after 4:00PM.

We start with homerooms on day 1 and 2. On day 3, we go right to block 1.

Any students who have interest in still participating on the football team, please e-mail Coach Doak immediately at doakc@gcsnc.com.

For those of you who are new to High Point Central, you will receive a weekly blog every Sunday night at 6:30 PM, followed by a 7:00PM translated version in Spanish. We will also send the links to this message in text and E-mail. If you do not receive those links, please e-mail our Data Manager, Tracy Hamlin, at hamlint@gcsnc.com. If you happen to delete any of your blogs received and want to review them, you can go to the High Point Central website and find the icon in the middle of the homepage that says Principal’s Bison Bulletin. We will send occasional messages during the week, and of course, if your student is absent one or more blocks in a day, you will be notified as well.
Parent/student information access
Great news! You can update your student information directly through the PowerSchool Parent Portal! Using a new feature called Forms, parents and guardians can make changes to their contact information and medical alerts, provide an absence notice in the event of a student absence, and submit other required paperwork. PowerSchool Parent Portal also gives you access to grades, assignments and attendance information, right from your phone or computer.
Log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal Account to begin the process. If you need help setting up a Parent Portal account, contact your school’s data manager. Thank you and have a good evening.
Families can access PowerSchool at any time from their phone, tablet, or desktop computer.
· Families will be able to update contact information as it changes.
· To gain access to forms, Parents must create a Parent Portal.
· All address changes must go through the SchoolMint Registration Address Change Process; All address changes should be processed through our Online Enrollment System. Click on this link https://buff.ly/3QfHdBG to navigate to our Online Enrollment System. If additional assistance is needed parents can view the Changing your address video on the Online Enrollment home screen. · Here is a short video https://buff.ly/3DDyT6Z parents may use to learn about navigating ECollect.
