Time is moving fast! We now only have 17 days left in the school year before testing starts. My challenges after you read this blog are to review your student’s current grades with them. If you have questions or concerns, contact the teacher immediately. If your student has low grades, ask them what their plan is to recover these grades. If no one is sure how to bring those grades up, contact the teacher or the grade level administrator to find out what resources we have to assist them.

Seniors and Parents/Guardians, we are coming to a time where cap and gowns must be ordered and paid fully in order for it to be distributed on May 25th and to be dressed fully for the Elementary School Graduation walks on that very same day. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Stafford in the front office. We will be distributing all other items ordered at an earlier date. Again, these orders must be paid in full.

What a great night this past Saturday at the High Point Central Prom! Thank you to Ms. Kayla Ranew for leading the way in creating such memorable experience for the students who attended.

PTO meeting for tomorrow will be postponed to May 15 at 6:00 pm in the Media Center. We are still looking for nominations for our Executive Team. Please contact HPCBisonPTO@gmail.com for more information.
We are also still in need of volunteers for our Adopt-A-Room. Help us create a partnership between you and a staff member at HPC. This is not a huge time or financial commitment, but an opportunity to help staff spruce up their room. We will put you directly in contact with a staff member to communicate and build a partnership. Are you not too sure how you can help? We have had a great turnout so far, but we need more volunteers! Simply e-mail our PTO president at cecewas@aol.com.

Senior Spirit Week is the week of May 22nd!

High Point Central is happy to announce that next school year, we will open the High Point Central Global Leadership Academy; this academy will provide language learning and a career path to our students in Language acquisition, this is a partnership between GCSNC and UNCG. You are invited to participate in our launching event on Tuesday, April 18th at 6:00 PM in the media Center.

Seniors with a GPA of 2.8 or higher, interested in Advance Manufacturing, please see Mr. Lowe in room 221C for more details about this great opportunity.

High Point Central is looking for feedback from all stakeholders exploring a transition from Block scheduling to Traditional scheduling for the 24-25 school year. You can use this FORM to provide any feedback. We will share information related to questions and concerns within our blog moving forward.

We now have the Hub Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30-6. Students must let Mr. Hagerman know they are interested in attending.
