We now start day 1 of the last quarter of the school year. This quarter typically feels like the fastest quarter of the school year so please have those healthy conversations with your students about staying on top of their academics. Please remember to check behind your student on their grades and attendance. Please make contact with your student’s teachers for any concern you have. Report Cards will be going home this coming Thursday.

It’s that time of the year as we offer yard signs to celebrate any seniors and their accomplishments.
Personalized sign $40
Plain sign $35

Please share with each other and if anyone is interested in any of these classes, please let your counselor know immediately.

Seniors with a GPA of 2.8 or higher, interested in Advance Manufacturing, please see Mr. Lowe in room 221C for more details about this great opportunity
Next, NC State 3 pre-college programs for rising juniors and seniors. What is amazing about this opportunity is that students will be given a mentor that they will have throughout the following school year. Students with an unweighted GPA of 3.4 or higher or are in the top 15% of their class are encouraged to apply. Applications close on April 7th. https://admissions.ncsu.edu/pre-college-programs/

High Point Central is looking for feedback from all stakeholders exploring a transition from Block scheduling to Traditional scheduling for the 24-25 school year. You can use this FORM to provide any feedback. We will share information related to questions and concerns within our blog moving forward.

Learning Hubs has added a third day of the week based on the success we have seen. We will now hold the Hub Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30-6. Students must let Mr. Hagerman know they are interested in attending.

We are also still in need of volunteers for our Adopt-A-Room. Help us create a partnership between you and a staff member at HPC. This is not a huge time or financial commitment, but an opportunity to help staff spruce up their room. We will put you directly in contact with a staff member to communicate and build a partnership. Are you not too sure how you can help? We have had a great turnout so far, but we need more volunteers! Simply e-mail our PTO president at cecewas@aol.com.
