This is Mr. Hettenbach with a simple greeting from the Boulevard.

We have 10 days of school before the December break, followed by 11 days before the first semester state exams start. As you can realize, we do not have much time left at all. At this time, I am asking all students, parents and guardians to monitor daily attendance and academics. If you are unsure how to do this on a daily basis, please do not hesitate to call the school for help. We can empower you to be in the know.

Winners of the Bison Beatification contest that took place the weekend November 19th are the Boys Soccer Team and Beta Club. The PTO will provide a pizza party for each group. The PTO will contact sponsors to set up a date after Winter Break.

Tomorrow, Monday, we have a couple of great events. For all early graduating seniors, there will be a career and college event Monday, Dec 5th in the media center, during 2nd block, 11-12:30. GTCC admissions and the NC Works Mobile Career Center will be at this event. If you are planning to work or attend GTCC, you will need to attend this event. Please see the CCM-Mr. :Lowe or the college advisor, Ms. Trinity to get a pass.

Also, we will be hosting another FAFSA workshop on Monday December 5th at 5:30 PM in the Media Center. Any senior who has not completed their application for financial aid should attend. See Ms. Trinity with any questions.
